Senior Analyst, IFRS17 (Actuarial Operations)

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to junior team members in daily operational tasks.
• Support the production of IFRS17 results, including:
• Running BAU IFRS17 model runs and ensuring timely delivery of results.
• Performing input/output validation checks to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Investigating and escalating issues, and proposing resolution ideas.
• Preparing validation templates, reports, and result summaries for review.
• Working with business units to resolve data or input issues.
• Coordinating with development teams to troubleshoot run issues.
• Support ad-hoc actuarial requests and contribute to actuarial projects or initiatives.

Requirements:

• 35 years of experience in actuarial functions within the insurance industry.
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Good progress in actuarial professional exams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial valuation processes and IFRS17.
• Hands-on experience with Prophet is an advantage.
• Strong skills in Excel and Python.
• Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
