Job Description

Your Tasks

Role Purpose

Responsible for delivering sales growth and profitability through strategic business development, sales leadership, and effective customer engagement across the assigned territory.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and growth potential within the assigned territory.
  • Drive revenue growth and market share expansion through effective sales planning and execution.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend appropriate actions to maintain a competitive advantage.

Sales Performance Management

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales, volume, and profitability targets.
  • Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and territory plans.
  • Trade spends and business investment monitoring.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure effective sales pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, coach and develop sales personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training programs.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, dealers, and business partners.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure mutually beneficial business outcomes.
  • Resolve major customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strengthen channel partnerships to improve market penetration and sales performance.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analysed market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business performance updates for management.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on sales data and market insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all sales activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and customer engagement programs.
  • Support the implementation of company policies, processes, and compliance requirements.

Your Profile

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business development or other related fields
  • At least 5 years managerial role experience in FMCG industry preferably beauty or personal care industry
  • Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation and result-driven
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Good command in English both spoken and written
