Senior Ariba Buying (including Guided Buying) Functional Expert

About the role
Location:
Malaysia, India and Prague #LI Hybrid
As a part of Novartis APD (Architecture, Platforms & Data) Program, you will join the Procurement solution design team and be responsible for managing the end-to-end Ariba Buying and Guided Buying solution for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing, configuring, and testing Ariba Buying and Guided Buying solutions that meet business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop and maintain the Ariba Buying and Guided Buying solution, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Provide functional leadership and guidance to the implementation team and ensure that functional solutions are in line with business objectives.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that the Ariba Buying and Guided Buying solution meets those requirements.
Configure and maintain Ariba Buying and Guided Buying to meet business needs.
Provide support and guidance to Novartis P2P process owners and business community on Ariba Buying and Guided Buying processes and functionality.
Develop and maintain the Novartis template for Ariba Buying and Guided Buying as part of the solution design team with a focus on indirect procurement processes.
Upstream modules are also key to know how integration happens such like Ariba Sourcing, Contract & SLD. CIG configuration and basic understanding would be an added advantage

What you'll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in implementing Ariba Buying and Guided Buying solutions.
Strong understanding of Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, and Ariba Network functionality.
Experience with Ariba Buying and Guided Buying configuration and maintenance
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with Ariba and SAP S4 HANA Integration (Ariba CIG)
Certification with ARIBA would be a added advantage.
Experience with any of the other Ariba Solutions (Ariba Commerce Automation, Ariba Strategic Sourcing)
Exposure to SAP S4 HANA procurement solution (e.g. SAP Material Management)
