Job Purpose
To support and assist the Senior Manager and the Head of Department to draft, peruse, review and negotiate, advise, highlight and raise to the Management implications, risks and exposures of terms and/or conditions of contracts in all commercial arrangements and operational agreements entered or to be entered into by the Company in carrying out its business activities to ensure that the interest and benefit of the Company are secured and safeguarded at all times.
Key Accountabilities
- Draft and prepare Letters of Award, Conditions of Contracts and other legal documents relating to construction, services, supply, consultancy etc and ensure all commercial, technical and financial requirements are incorporated in the contract documents.
- Review, vet and peruse the legal documents prepared and provided by other internal and/or external parties to ensure the Company's interest is protected.
- Provide legal opinions and advise management of potential or prevailing risks and exposures and recommend appropriate cause of action.
- Monitoring and keep abreast with the changes and developments in law in order to update the management and Board members of the same.
- Participate in tender evaluation exercises and to produce reports and attend meetings/negotiations with short-listed tenderers.

- Supervising and guiding the administrators in creating an effective working environment.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience of in-house and legal practice.
