Job Purpose
To support and manage land administration for Transit Oriented Development (TOD), land leasing, and statutory compliance matters to support the smooth and compliant execution of development.
Key Accountabilities
- To assist the Head of Land Management in managing land matters including land titles, transfers, conversions, subdivisions, amalgamations, and surrender-and-realienation processes.
- Coordinate and liaise with land offices, local authorities, government agencies, solicitors, surveyors, and consultants on land-related issues.
- Monitor land status, tenure conditions, restrictions in interest, and compliance with title conditions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including the Land Asset and Management Department (LAMD), Legal & General Counsel Department (LGCD), to ensure smooth execution of land management and development activities.
- Assist in reviewing agreements, joint venture arrangements, and supplemental agreements relating to land and property.
- Prepare internal memos, management reports, and correspondence on land and development matters.
- Assist in the management of land and property leases, licences, and tenancy arrangements. Conduct the inspection process and acceptance of the completed works or services.
- Arrange and conduct site visits and briefings with potential tenants.
- Monitor and update land, legal, and commercial risks associated with the development throughout its lifecycle, and recommend mitigation measures.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Land Administration, Real Estate Management, Property Management, Law, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field or equivalent. Experience dealing with government authorities and statutory bodies is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of land laws and land administration procedures.
- Ability to review legal and commercial documents related to land and property.
