About the RoleWe are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Senior Audit to join our growing team at Wezmart. This role is ideal for candidates with strong auditing experience who are ready to take on greater responsibilities, manage engagements, and lead audit assignments independently.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries
- Plan audit assignments, including risk assessment and audit strategy development
- Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Prepare audited financial statements in accordance with MFRS/MPERS
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and resolve audit issues
- Supervise and guide junior auditors, including reviewing their work
- Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
- Assist in improving audit processes and internal controls
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / MICPA or equivalent) or in progress
- Minimum 35 years of relevant audit experience
- Experience in audit firm / professional services firm is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of MFRS, MPERS, and auditing standards
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
