We're expanding our Audit & Tax Team and looking for committed, responsible individuals who are able to work independently and deliver high-quality work. At Koo Wee Long & Co., we value critical thinking, accountability, and a strong willingness to grow professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of recent and continuous working experience in BOTH external audit or tax.
• Strong understanding of MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting/audit/tax software is an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients.
• Able to work independently and as part of the team.
• Receptive to feedback and open to new working styles.
• Willing to travel, mainly within Klang & Shah Alam.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full audit and tax assignments independently.
• Finalise audit working papers and prepare complete statutory audit reports.
• Prepare corporate tax computations, deferred tax estimates, and tax filing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with audit standards and tax regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Deliver accurate and timely work with minimal supervision.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary is based on skills and qualifications.
