-Core Technical Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI software for industrial automation systems.
Configure and optimize motion control systems, including PID tuning, parameter configuration, and performance validation.
Perform system integration with electrical, mechanical, and production equipment.
Lead and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure compliance with technical and customer requirements.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for automation and control system issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, software standards, and test procedures.
-On-Site Leadership Responsibilities
Act as the on-site technical lead during installation, commissioning, and system startup activities.
Coordinate on-site activities with customers, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
Supervise and guide on-site engineers and technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during on-site implementation.
Manage on-site issue resolution, escalation, and communication to stakeholders.
-Project Management Responsibilities
Support or lead automation project execution, from design through commissioning and handover.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to automation software.
Monitor project progress and manage risks, technical changes, and resource allocation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (software, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing).
Participate in customer meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Prepare project reports, commissioning status updates, and final acceptance documentation.
-Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in PLC & HMI programming (e.g., CODESYS or equivalent platforms).
In-depth knowledge of motion control, industrial networks, and automation architectures.
Proven ability to lead on-site teams and manage customer-facing technical activities.
Basic to intermediate project management skills (planning, scheduling, risk management).
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project implementation.
Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Typically 5+ years of relevant automation and industrial software experience.
-Staff-Level Expectations
Act as a technical authority and on-site leader for automation software projects. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Drive best practices in software design, commissioning, and project execution.
