Senior Avaloq Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support requirement analysis, solution design, and workshops within the assigned functional domain.
• Partner with Stream Leads and Business Analysts to define scope and challenge requirements where necessary to ensure business value and costoptimal solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive functional and technical design documentation for new features and enhancements.
• Perform coding, configuration, and unit testing for assigned work packages.
• Act as the primary contact for technical queries and support consulting projects or customer workshops.
• Track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues promptly to the Lead Developer, Stream Lead, or Project Manager.
• Provide deep subjectmatter expertise and help resolve requirement or solution gaps.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior developers when required.
• Core Modules: IRT, CRT, Cost & Charges, Book Engine, Rule Engine, Finance
• SDM: Client Management, CRM, Data Modelling, Reporting Desk
• Technical Areas: Security, Output, Batch & EOD, Anonymization, Report Writer
• Interfaces: CAPI, AMI
• Experience with SWIFT and FIX message processing
• Strong understanding of general Avaloq modules such as Reporting Desk, Preferences, and Security Access
• Solid knowledge of front, middle, and back-office processes in the wealth management / private banking industry

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 58 years of experience in Avaloq development.
• Proven experience in team lead roles in past projects.
• Strong ability to lead discussions with business and operations stakeholders.
• Good understanding of financial markets and global regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adaptable communication style for different audiences.
• Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.
• Added advantage ACCP certification
