Senior Backend Engineer (Java Spring Boot / AWS / Terraform)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-quality, scalable platform services
• Drive continuous improvement, manage technical debt, and optimize systems for performance and scalability
• Set engineering direction and standards, promote DevSecOps best practices
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship across global teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (CGPA >3.0); Master's a plus
• 8+ years in software engineering with proven ownership in cross-functional teams
• Deep expertise in Java 17+ and hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Extensive experience building microservices on AWS (ECS, DynamoDB, Aurora, SQS, SNS, Lambda)
• Solid grounding in CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and modern testing
• Terraform (IAC) is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills, self-driven, and customer-focused mindset
