Senior Banking Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the successful delivery of a next-generation core banking system platforms implementation with downstream applications and systems across different business segments.

This role involves managing complex project portfolios, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring project outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in large-scale IT transformation projects, especially in financial services environments, with a deep understanding of the regulatory, operational, and technical challenges involved in legacy-to-modern platform migration.

Project management resources should be:

1. At least 5 years of experience in PM/PMO - in both agile and non-agile ways of working
2. Able to identify, escalate and resolve issues, challenges, risks
3. High ability to report and present succinctly
4. Able to design and operate project management tools, templates and governance
5. Experience in financial services sector, especially in Consumer, Commercial and Transaction Banking fields
6. Experience with both technology and business-related transformations, especially in business process re-engineering
7. Knowledge of banking compliance and regulatory matters
8. Hands on with at least one or more of the below:

• System implementation / transformation – areas like Loan Origination
• Business process re-engineering, process mapping – areas like Credit Operations
• Fundamental Commercial Banking knowledge
• Fundamental Consumer / Transaction Banking knowledge – Cross border payments
• Process mapping, digital product development - Value chain finance, API solutioning
