The Senior Billing Executive is responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for billing-related consumer services or products. This includes understanding the requirements, planning and executing test scenarios in a controlled environment, and ensuring completion within the designated timeline. The role also involves documenting test outcomes, providing briefings, and handing over to the operations team when necessary. Leadership skills are essential, as the role includes managing a team and coordinating with external vendors, such as the TMO outsourced team.
Make an Impact by:
User Acceptance Testing & Implementation for new / changes to consumer products
- Conduct and lead the team in user acceptance testing (UAT) for billing system after the enhancements are made. Ensure UAT is done within schedule for implementation.
- Review the test plan and test result provided by TMO. Track the progress and ensure quality of testing is not compromised. Empowered to sign off the test plan by Manager.
- Liaise with stakeholders (including Product managers, Marketing, Engineering, IS) to finalize billing requirements, including explaining/educating business users/ stakeholders on processes & requirements.
- Prepare briefing materials and conduct briefing to the operations team prior to the launch of new initiatives to ensure smooth handover. Provides support to users on production enquiries and issues after a project is implemented.
Process Improvement
- Review processes, identify gaps and recommend enhancement within the area to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Support digital transformation, involve in digitalization projects and automation of work processes using RPA/ Power automate/ Phyton/ Macro, etc.
Training
- Provide comprehensive training to team members and reporting staff for succession planning and back-up.
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Skills for Success:
- Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ IT/ Business or equivalent.
- Preferably minimum 4 years of UAT experience for billing system with the experience of leading a team.
- Preferably minimum 1-2 years of exposure to Automation tools UI Path, Power Automate, Python, SQL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, eye for detail, meticulous and digital savvy.
- Possess effective communication skills to deal with stakeholders.
- Able to write and communicate clearly in English.
