Purpose of role:

Senior Brand Manager is responsible for shaping and maintaining the brand's online presence, ensuring consistency across all digital channels. This role involves developing digital marketing strategies, engaging audiences through compelling content, managing online campaigns, and leveraging data analytics to optimise brand performance & the growth of the portfolio in the Malaysia Market. Assisting in the growth of the portfolio in Malaysia market

Responsibilities include:

  • Craft brand strategies and brand plan to increase brand awareness and market presence.
  • Lead a multi-functional team to implement brand plans in the marketplace and monitors the performance of the support plans.
  • Analyse brand Profit and Loss (P&L) and drive the profitability of the brand (Topline, GM% and Bottomline).
  • Lead in ongoing analysis and review of consumer, category, channel/customer, and competitive information as part of a situation assessment of brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build productive working relationships with the key interfaces (as indicated below) to manage the brand's day-to-day operations, and external partners and agencies.
  • Provide input to volume forecasting, and financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P Proposition, Product, Packaging, Price, Place & Promotion).
  • Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets (Financial and Brand metrics including Market Shares, Penetration and Brand Health).
  • Involvement in NPD launch management, building launch plans, customer sell-in and legal and regulatory issues.
  • Manage the assigned brand's new product launch assessment and deployment in the local market, including P&L, pricing, place and positioning.

Who are you

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand management, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably in health, pharmacy or FMCG
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies whilst also managing day-to-day brand operations
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (ie. Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI)
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect trends to opportunities and to translate these into executable plans that can unlock growth across multiple markets
  • Demonstrates good insights generations and analytical skills to develop robust marketing strategies
  • Effective cross-functional team player to lead team discussion and planning for brand portfolio to ensure successful delivery of marketing-led initiatives.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen; understanding Blackmores strategies, as well as customer and consumer marketing environment.
