What will you do:
- Obtain and document business objectives and business requirements for ARBM products, product features and services in support of product development.
- Gain a good understanding of business processes, KPI's, systems architecture, API's, SDLC, high-level architecture, 3rd party data sources, databases etc., and in the process assist in documentation as needed.
- Periodically help conduct analysis of the existing processes, KPI's, metrics, software etc. to identify potential bottlenecks, ways to optimize and improve, help identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities to be addressed.
- Design, document and negotiate with the stakeholders, new or changes to business processes in order to meet or exceed business objectives and requirements.
- Identify, document and negotiate detailed functional and non-functional requirements for ARBM.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify missing or potentially useful solution and product features, perform competitive research on 3rd party API being used.
- Work with product management and project management to prioritize & plan solution and product features requirements development in support of upcoming product releases.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to product development teams, including requirements clarification, Jira backlog maintenance, obtaining additional detailed requirements information and supporting materials.
- Prepare UAT (user acceptance testing) cases and training guidelines for customer operations teams, assist Operations in conducting UAT and trainings.
- Coordinate issues and document defects resolution that improve product requirements with the development team; clarify and investigate new issues with stakeholders; communicate issues statuses and progress to product management team, project management team and PMO.
- Drive the business analysis and requirements analysis process, be the main and self-sufficient driving force in this process but also know how to collaborate with the team.
Skills, certifications and experience you possess:
- Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Accounting / Finance / Banking or any related field.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years working experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Analysis experience in relevant areas:
- Digital Banking, Consumer Finance, Home Finance, SME Finance and/or credit risk.
- Banking.
- Corporate finance.
- Accounting.
- Digital marketing.
- Participation in digital transformation and automation projects with prior experience in fintech would be a big plus.
- Experience with complex, state-of-the-art software development and/or integration.
- Strong knowledge of requirements analysis methodologies and methods, from high-level business requirements to low-level technical requirements.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with business processes and software requirements documenting methods and formats: user stories & acceptance criteria, use cases, BPMN, flow charts etc.
- Good understanding of technology and ability to present technical information on both a technical level and a business level. Technical or project management background would be a big plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies.
- Good communication skills.
- A team player attitude with desire to collaborate and share knowledge with project stakeholders and implementation team members.
- Understanding of Product Management discipline and Product Lifecycle Management would be a plus.
- Possess knowledge and skills in UML, BPMN 2.0, SQL Basics, basic understanding of REST and SOAP API and basics of cloud services, SaaS, PaaS and Amazon Web Services are added advantage.
