This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes related to insurance claims.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define user requirements and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are translated into functional specifications.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation to support project initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users as needed.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in the insurance and claims domain.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Ability to elicit, document, and manage user requirements effectively.
- Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Knowledge of insurance claims management systems.
- Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on insurance and claims.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
