Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically within Shop Floor Integration (SFI) and factory automation environments. The role will support equipment integration and automation initiatives in Assembly & Test (A&T) operations, working closely with engineering, IT, and operations teams to deliver automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support factory automation and equipment integration initiatives within semiconductor Assembly & Test (A&T) operations.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications, design documentation, and test cases.
- Coordinate and support ITAT and UAT testing, CAB documentation, and system configuration activities.
- Work with local and offshore teams to standardize and deliver automation solutions.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring system availability and resolving application issues.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization of manufacturing system interfaces.
- Support the full automation project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of Assembly & Test processes and factory automation systems.
- Experience with SECS/GEM machine integration and SEMI standards (E5, E10, E30, E37.1, E142, E84, E87).
- Familiarity with factory messaging systems such as TIBCO Rendezvous or EMS.
- Knowledge of equipment utilization, OEE, and tool lifecycle management.
- Exposure to Wafer Test, Assembly, Final Test, or Packaging processes is an advantage.
- Experience with CAMLINE or AMAT solutions is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
