Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead Power BI-driven reporting and analytics, delivering actionable insights across sales, services, profitability, and operations. This role focuses on advanced business intelligence, supported by a finance background to enhance revenue and profitability analysis. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, the role is key to driving data-informed decisions.

Job Descriptions:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and reports (e.g., sales bookings, CRM pipeline, PS utilization/earn rates, profitability, AR/AP, HR headcount via Workday, ServiceNow ops, MS renewals, carbon emissions, cloud billing).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to elicit requirements, build data models (tabular/multidimensional), implement row-level security (RLS), and write DAX expressions for unique business insights.
  • Manage business indicator reporting, target achievement tracking, ad-hoc analytics, commercial modeling, and APAC cadence reporting.
  • Evaluate or improve BI systems and processes using AI tools for efficiency.
  • Maintain data analytics platforms, develop technical documentation, and support system integrations.
  • Investigate new technologies and prototypes.
  • Provide profitability reporting linked to revenue streams, variable compensation modeling (OTE/OTVC), and process automation.
  • Communicate complex findings to non-technical leaders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, perform data mining or trend analysis, and mentor on BI best practices in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Economics, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in business analysis, reporting, or BI/data roles; finance background highly desirable for accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (dashboards, DAX, RLS, modeling).
  • Intermediate-advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft BI stack (Power Query, Power Pivot, SSAS/SSIS/SSRS).
  • Proven problem-solving skills to translate data into actionable visualizations and insights.

Good-to-have skills:

  • Experience with R/Python scripting, FinOps/ERP systems, ServiceNow, ConnectWise, or Workday integrations.
  • Proven experience in data-specific roles within tech or services firms.
