Responsibilities
- Ability to carry out process identification, definition and mapping. Participate in planning and designing business processes, including formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities.
- Work with the project team to develop, define, and elaborate features and user stories for future releases and sprints.
- Ensure that user stories meet the definition of ready (fully elaborated with acceptance criteria, etc.).
- Maintain an up-to-date backlog of features and user stories for future sprints.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops for visioning, surveys, business process descriptions, user story based product backlog development, use cases modeling and specification , scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Work with users to define concepts and clarify requirements under the direction of project managers.
- Conduct detailed research in order to translate business requirements into precise, high quality user stories or functional specifications that are clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.
- Identify and validate key business requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and help drive projects across the product design, development and testing.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business strategies and future initiatives to determine future process and solution needs.
- Manages stakeholders, including influencing and persuading, as part of applications delivery and support
- Analyze business needs to identify new processes or process improvements that will meet those needs.
- Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects.
- Accountable for :
o Maintain and support the applications in accordance with Service Level Agreement & timelines
o Deliver in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, including for IT SDLC
o Lead projects, resolve new/complex problems which may impact the application
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in any disciplines.
- at least 5 years in delivering IT applications.
- Prior experience in Insurance industry is a MUST.
- Preferably Full Stack Application Development experience, relevant to Java (J2EE/JEE), ReactJS, Spring Boot frameworks, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience in managing projects will be an added advantage.
