Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to drive Farbens business growth in Malaysia. This role will focus on expanding our client base, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and positioning Farben as a trusted partner for digital technology solutions, particularly in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing new clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients in Malaysia, fostering business expansion and ensuring client satisfaction aligned with Farbens 'Customer Focus' principle.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends (especially in fintech, software outsourcing, and digital transformation), formulate competitive strategies, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Identify, establish, and maintain key external relationships related to the market, including partnerships with industry associations, regulatory bodies, and potential business collaborators.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including review, negotiation, signing, and execution monitoring, ensuring compliance with Farbens standards and client requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT industry bidding processes and software outsourcing business models, leveraging Farbens expertise in efficient delivery and project management.
- Monitor pricing dynamics of Farbens products and services (e.g., digital technology services, fintech solutions), forecast potential price risks, and propose mitigation measures.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, business negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex relationshipscritical for aligning with Farbens client-centric approach.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in fintech products or solutions, with a proven track record in growing business operations.
- Deep expertise in at least one sub-sector of financial services (banking, securities, or insurance), familiar with industry pain points and digital transformation needs (consistent with Farbens focus on financial industry solutions).
- High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Agile thinking, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to achieve business objectives.
- English as the working language; proficiency in Chinese is a valuable asset.
