Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure platform engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps and cloud governance. The role involves building secure, scalable and self-service Azure platforms for enterprise and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and operate Azure platforms across Sandbox, QA, UAT and Production.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform / Azure Bicep.
• Build self-service developer golden paths, templates and provisioning workflows.
• Implement CI/CD and GitOps using Azure DevOps, GitHub, ShipHATS or equivalent.
• Implement DevSecOps, policy-as-code, security and compliance guardrails.
• Support secure deployment of AI-enabled applications.
• Manage Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access and least-privilege access.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Support FinOps, cost optimization and TCO reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, product, finance and leadership teams.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of engineering experience with strong Microsoft Azure expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, Container Apps, App Service, API Management, Defender for Cloud and Azure Cost Management.
• Experience in GCC / government or regulated cloud environments.
• Strong Terraform / Bicep expertise.
• Strong Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD and GitOps experience.
• Strong DevSecOps and cloud security experience.
• Expertise in Entra ID, RBAC, PIM and Conditional Access.
• Experience with AI/ML services on Azure and AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT.
• Experience with containers, APIs and cloud-native applications.
