Summary:
Execute and supervise the construction engineering relevant to the Project. Their duties involve the preparation of construction estimates, construction scopes of work and the review of engineering deliverables for the development of construction methodologies. The role includes coordination of construction sub-contractors, internal construction resources (as required) and internal resources for safe and successful execution of construction activities as required by the Head of Projects and coordinate interfaces between internal disciplines and sub-departments, providing input and direction to the procurement & logistics team while coordinating on-board activities (mob/de-mob, activity sequence, project equipment provision, etc).
Job Duties:
Prepare:
- Responsible for the preparation of construction estimates for the onshore & offshore phase.
- Responsible for the preparation of construction sequencing and planning, delivering inputs to the overall execution plan.
- Responsible for the preparation of construction scopes or requirements.
- Responsible for the preparation/review of construction workpacks for execution of work offshore.
Execute:
- Responsible for ensuring manpower/equipment & tooling is in place for the safe execution of the construction works.
- Responsible for ensuring construction workpacks are executed in line with project requirements.
- Responsible for liaising with key construction stakeholders including Client, Operations, Engineering & Procurement.
Supervise / Coordinate:
- Responsible for coordinating the construction sub-contractors.
- Responsible for ensuring construction sub-contractors have the necessary competence for execution of the works.
Review / Monitor:
- Responsible for monitoring progress of the construction activities and reporting to the Project Manager.
- Responsible for identifying issues that may impact cost, schedule & quality of the construction activities.
Others:
- Any other duties/ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
Job Requirements:
- Preferable degree qualified or suitable technical certification.
- 10 years experience in FPSO Commissioning.
- 8 years in installation / construction / integrations of FPSOs and FSO.
- Technical competence in offshore and onshore construction practices.
- Deep knowledge of the work in respect to both operational/logistic and technical aspects.
- Proficient in preparing Commissioning procedures, plans and other documentation.
- Good understanding of CMS, and selection of vendors.
- Experienced in Offshore / Yard working & safety practices.
- Ability to interface with different stakeholders: client, sub-contractors & internal departments/functions.
- Capability to effectively supervise and manage the engineering team and to interface with internal stakeholders.
- Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Personal commitment to work in compliance with HSE & QAQC requirements.
- Brownfield & Greenfield FPSO experience added advantage.
