About the Role
Lead projects from preparation through closure, ensuring deliverables meet HumanCap's standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Client Value
- Develop clear project plans with defined ownership, timelines, and accountability.
- Guide and support your project team so outputs are accurate, timely, and of high quality.
- Complete projects smoothly by managing vendors, resolving risks early, and keeping invoicing and change control accurate.
- Act as the go-to partner for senior client stakeholders, building trust and long-term relationships.
- Lead client presentations, strategic discussions, and key project updates.
- Manage client expectations and proactively address risks or challenges that may affect project outcomes.
Business Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of projects across HumanCap's core services.
- Leverage and expand existing clients to expand HumanCap's service offerings and secure follow-on projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client networks, referrals, and market outreach.
- Contribute to proposal development, business presentations to support Business Development targets.
Internal Process Improvement
- Ensure all projects comply with HumanCap's processes, tools, and standards.
- Provide strategic input into the development and improvement of HumanCap's internal processes and offerings.
Learning & Growth
- Mentor, coach, and develop Consultants, Senior Analysts, and Analysts to build their delivery capabilities.
- Maintain the well-being and performance of the project team by providing regular feedback and guidance.
- Lead internal learning sessions or initiatives to build HumanCap's expertise and capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Communications, Social Sciences or related fields.
Required Skills
- Solid foundation in business strategy, communication and consulting acumen, with the ability to apply these in consulting engagements.
- Strong consultative, project management, and change management skills with proven experience in successfully delivering projects.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor and guide team members to deliver high-quality work.
- Proven ability to manage client accounts and develop long-term relationships that drive repeat business and new opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with confidence to engage senior client stakeholders and C-suite.
- Strong business development capability, including identifying opportunities and leading proposal or pitch development.
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, decisive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate issues and drive resolution.
- Drives organisational improvement, contributing to the refinement of HumanCap's internal processes, tools, and service offerings.
- Consistently demonstrates integrity, accountability, and strong personal ethics in all work.
