The team you will be part of
The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. We work with top brands, combining creativity, data, and platform expertise to drive real commercial results. As part of Intrepid's end-to-end eCommerce ecosystem, we gain broad exposure across operations, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a key role in shaping how brands connect with digital shoppers in real time.
The part you will play
We're looking for a highly creative and driven Senior Content Strategist to join our growing content team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping brand storytelling—developing compelling ideas, writing engaging scripts and captions, and spotting trends to keep our content fresh, relevant, and effective. This role demands a passion for words, strong communication skills, and a sharp eye for creative opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Senior Content Strategist you will take charge of
Your responsibilities would include:
- Write clear, compelling scripts and storyboards for short-form video content, from product showcases to campaign storytelling.
- Lead and guide the team, with a focus on understanding social commerce content strategies.
- Support the Video Content Lead in the ideation and development of big creative ideas aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Craft engaging, on-brand captions that support video narratives and highlight key eCommerce hooks
- Conduct trendspotting and competitor benchmarking to identify creative opportunities and shape content strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the video production team and key account managers to ensure messaging is cohesive and effective.
- Liaise with clients by preparing and presenting content performance reports, and keep them updated on upcoming content plans to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Present ideas confidently—both in writing and verbally—in team brainstorms and reviews.
What we are looking for - the ideal profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- At least 3 - 4 years of relevant copywriting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing storyboarding, social content, or campaign work
- Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and tone
- Ability to identify trends and translate insights into actionable content ideas
- Basic ability to interpret content performance data and apply insights to copywriting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for pop culture, fashion, lifestyle, and digital storytelling
Nice to Have:
- Experience writing for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts
- Familiarity with basic performance metrics (CTR, engagement rate, etc.) to inform writing.
- Can work under pressure and strive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ASANA, Frame.io, Google Suite
