Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Credit Research Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur. The primary responsibilities include conducting in-depth credit research and analysis on MYR and Non-MYR fixed income investments, monitoring the performance of issuers, and providing timely and accurate investment recommendations. The Senior Credit Research Analyst will collaborate closely with portfolio managers and other team members to support asset management strategies and decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess credit risk, interpret financial data, and make informed investment recommendations
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and related tools, and delivering written credit assessments
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Investments and Asset Management practices and strategies
- A solid background in Finance, including understanding of market trends and financial principles
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey analysis and recommendations
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in credit/fixed income research or similar roles
