We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP Finance & Operations (F&O) Solutions Architect to lead our enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives. With over 15 years of industry experience, you will be the driving force behind the design, architecture, governance, and delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing ERP solutions.

Based in Batu Gajah, Perak, Malaysia, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic implementations for complex business environments (such as heavy manufacturing, engineering, or logistics), aligning cutting-edge technology with organizational objectives.

*Role Responsibilities*

Solution Architecture & Governance

• Lead the end-to-end architectural design of D365 F&O solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, scalability, and best practices.

• Formulate robust architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and system integration strategies.

• Establish development guidelines, code review processes, and governance frameworks to maintain high-quality system implementations.

• Define and manage the overall environment topology, release management strategy, and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

Technical & Functional Leadership

• Act as the ultimate technical authority on complex D365 F&O issues, troubleshooting critical performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems, and architectural gaps.

• Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, translating complex functional demands into efficient technical solutions.

• Mentor, guide, and lead teams of technical developers, functional analysts, and systems integrators.

• Drive the adoption of modern practices, including the use of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.

Integration & Data Migration Strategy

• Architect seamless integration solutions connecting D365 F&O with third-party legacy applications, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM, WMS, and external APIs.

• Design robust data migration strategies, outlining ETL pipelines, data validation, and historical data reconciliation frameworks.

• Implement high-capacity data architectures using D365 Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, BYOD (Bring Your Own Database), and Azure Data Lake storage.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, steering committees, and business unit heads, clearly communicating technical risks, timelines, and architectural trade-offs.

• Conduct feasibility assessments and Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBA) for requested customizations versus standard product capabilities.

• Assist with change management and business process engineering to ensure users maximize the value of the standard D365 features.

*Technical Competencies*

• D365 Core Development: Advanced expertise in X++, C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

• Microsoft Cloud Stack: Deep understanding of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management) and Microsoft Power Platform.

• LCS & ALM: Expert-level mastery of Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment administration, diagnostic tools, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of D365 security role design, licensing compliance, and data privacy principles.

*Functional & Domain Knowledge*

• Supply Chain Management (SCM): Inventory, Procurement, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Logistics.

• Manufacturing: Discrete and Process manufacturing, Production Control, and Capacity Planning.

• Finance: General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Management, Costing, and Localized Tax compliance in Malaysia.

• Experience with large-scale industrial, engineering, or manufacturing enterprise operations is highly desirable.

Professional & Interpersonal Skills

• Proven track record of leading at least 3-4 full lifecycle, multi-phase global implementations of D365 F&O as a Lead/Principal Architect.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical business partners.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
