Senior Data Analyst

Job Purpose

• Support the Data Management Head on Project Support, URS, and BAU-related requests
• Write, understand, and troubleshoot complex SQL/HQL business logic
• Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement fixes for identified issues
• Develop Stored Procedures, Functions, SQL Scripts, and Teradata / Oracle / Hive HQL queries
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and validate business and data requirements
• Translate data requirements into Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
• Review BRD documents to confirm data requirements
• Cross-check Data Warehouse (DWH) sources to identify data availability and gaps
• Perform data mapping based on DWH design and data models
• Conduct data profiling and identify data quality issues
• Deliver outputs aligned with business expectations

• Updated DWH data mapping documents and scripts
• Accurate and timely data analysis outputs

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree / Master's in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in:
• Banking Data Warehouse (DWH)
• Business Intelligence (BI)
• Reporting tools
• Data Modeling & Design
• Data Management environments or equivalent experience
