Senior Data Replication & Integration Engineer (Oracle Golden Gate, Qlik Replicate)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Engineer to lead the design, implementation, administration, and modernization of enterprise data replication platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle GoldenGate, with complementary experience in Qlik Replicate, Oracle databases, cloud-native technologies, automation, and data engineering practices.The role will be responsible for supporting mission-critical real-time data replication environments, driving cloud transformation initiatives, implementing CICD , and enabling modern Data & AI platforms through scalable, secure, and automated data movement solutions.

The Job

Oracle GoldenGate Development & Administration

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions for real-time and batch data integration across heterogeneous platforms including Oracle, IBM iSeries – AS400, Cloudera, Kafka and cloud-native databases.
• Architect and administer Oracle GoldenGate environments, including Extract, Pump, Replicate, Trails, Distribution Services, Receiver Services, Service Manager, and Microservices Architecture.
• Design and support high availability, active-active, active-passive, zero-downtime migration, and disaster recovery replication topologies.
• Perform GoldenGate installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, security hardening, and platform lifecycle management.
• Monitor replication health, latency, checkpoint status, trail file growth, and capacity utilization to ensure SLA compliance.
• Implement best practices for CDC, DDL/DML replication, conflict detection and resolution, supplemental logging, data validation, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot replication failures, lag issues, trail corruption, network problems, database
  
  

bottlenecks, and data reconciliation discrepancies.

• Support enterprise database upgrades, cloud migrations, DR exercises, maintenance activities,
  
  

and technology refresh programs.

• Develop automation frameworks for GoldenGate deployment, monitoring, configuration
  
  

management, and operational activities.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Integration, Data Engineering, Data Replication, or Database
  
  

Technologies.

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle GoldenGate experience as both Developer and Administrator.
• Strong expertise in GoldenGate Classic and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, performance
  
  

tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of CDC, Real-Time Replication, High Availability, Disaster Recovery,
  
  

and Data Integration concepts.

• Experience supporting mission-critical Production environments.
• Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.

• Experience with Qlik Replicate (Attunity Replicate) and Qlik Enterprise Manager.
• Experience with OCI cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Python automation and REST API integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Experience with Kafka, Cloudera, or modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML data platforms and enterprise Data & AI ecosystems.
• Knowledge in monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana, , ELK, Dynatrace,.
