Senior Data Scientist

About the Job

This role is responsible for conceptualization, sourcing and implementation of data science & GenAI projects aimed at improving business performance

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of AI / GenAI initiatives designed to optimize business performance across Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, and Customer Service.
• Partner with data engineers to architect robust pipelines for both structured and unstructured data (text, documents, call logs). Ensure high-standard data quality assurance to maintain model integrity and performance.
• Develop machine learning models and enhance the AI models from time to time.
• Execute LLM techniques, including Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Fine-Tuning, to deliver high-precision, context-aware AI outputs.
• Facilitate the seamless integration of AI solutions via APIs and internal infrastructures, overseeing the full deployment lifecycle and post-launch monitoring.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate emerging technologies. Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to identify and scale next-generation AI capabilities.

We are looking for people with

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3-7 years of experience in data science, analytics or artificial intelligence field.
• Advanced experience in Python and familiar with the libraries.
• Experienced in handling and processing different types of data (structured and unstructured).
• Experienced in building machine learning models, deploying AI models and MLOps.
• Practical GenAI experience and familiar with large language models (e.g. Llama, Claude).
• Familiar with cloud platform, AWS will be a plus.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is a plus.
