Senior Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server and PostgreSQL Administration to manage, optimize, and maintain critical database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Manage database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Implement and maintain replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Perform database capacity planning, patching, and version upgrades.
• Support development teams with database design and troubleshooting.
• Maintain database documentation and ensure security, governance, and compliance.
• Provide production and on-call support when required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL Administration.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of database replication, clustering, and high availability.
• Experience in database maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
