Lead Pricing Strategy in Workforce Solutions and Commercial Deal Governance

Revenue performance depends on how well deals are structured, evaluated, and executed. The Senior Deal Desk Analyst plays a critical role in aligning pricing strategy with business goals, influencing margins and governance at scale. Role Snapshot

Employment Type: Full-time (Project-based - 6 months, with potential for extension or regularization)

Shift: Night Shift (EST 09:30 AM - 06:30 PM), Weekends Off

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA)is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in deal desk, pricing, finance, or sales operations roles, preferably within staffing, SaaS, technology, or B2B services industries
  • Experience supporting complex deal structures
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • High proficiency in MicrosoftExcel is required
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling
  • Strong proficiency in pricing analysis
  • Experience with Salesforce and PowerBI is a strong plus

Work Environment

  • Work performed remotely in a suitable workspace free of distractions and background noise
  • Compliance with occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations
  • Experience using various technology platforms to support effective decision-making
  • Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods and walk short distances
  • Clear communication through speaking, hearing, and writing
  • Visual adjustment for both close and distance viewing
  • Physical capability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • No travel required for the role

Key Responsibilities

Deal Structuring & Review

  • Support the deal process by reviewing and structuring non-standard and complex transactions
  • Provide timely guidance on terms, discounting, pricing, processes, and margins in alignment with company policies and goals
  • Apply tools, frameworks, and strategies set by Pricing leadership to drive value across the organization
  • Provide feedback to refine and optimize tools, frameworks, and strategies based on front-line insights, efficiency, and accuracy

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Risk, Systems, and other cross-functional teams to gather data and conduct analysis
  • Ensure effective deal structuring and efficient approval processes
  • Enforce pricing and commercial policies throughout the deal lifecycle

Pricing Analysis

  • Use advanced Excel modeling to evaluate custom pricing scenarios, rebate tiering, and discounting strategies
  • Analyze emerging trends and insights to shape pricing policies and assess effectiveness
  • Deliver data-driven analysis and recommendations to optimize margin, revenue, and competitiveness across deal, division, and company levels

Process Efficiency

  • Recommend process improvements to streamline and enhance deal workflows
  • Support implementation of improvements to reduce turnaround time and friction in pricing and approvals

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all deals comply with pricing guidelines, commercial terms, and regulatory or contractual requirements
  • Support documentation and enforcement of pricing policies

Market Awareness

  • Stay informed on industry pricing trends and competitive benchmarks
  • Use market intelligence and internal data to support deal positioning and strategic decisions

Deal Reporting & Metrics

  • Track key deal desk metrics, including discounting trends, deal cycle times, and pricing exceptions
  • Provide insights to stakeholders to support continuous improvement

Data, Tools & System Utilization

  • Use internal systems such as Salesforce, CRM platforms, and PowerBI to support data collection and deal execution
  • Generate insights, support policy evaluation, and enable informed decision-making
