Job purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer specializing in ServiceNow platforms, including ITSM, ITOM, GRC, HR, SPM, and Interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities and the ability to challenge and collaborate with ServiceNow Solution Architects and Internal Developers from the product team. The ideal candidate will possess a rare combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking to drive innovative solutions and improvements across our ServiceNow landscape.
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
1. Technical Leadership and Development
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
2. Expertise in ServiceNow Modules
- ITSM (IT Service Management): Develop and enhance IT service management processes and workflows.
- ITOM (IT Operations Management): Implement and optimize IT operations management solutions.
- GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance): Design and deploy governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- HR (Human Resources): Develop HR service delivery solutions and workflows.
- SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management): Implement and manage strategic portfolio management processes.
- Interfaces: Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and applications.
3. Collaboration and Innovation
- Challenge and collaborate with ServiceNow Solution Architects to drive innovative solutions.
- Work closely with Internal Developers from the product team to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for ServiceNow implementations.
4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
5. Documentation and Training
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Expected skills & experience
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITSM, ITOM, GRC, HR, SPM, and Interfaces.
- Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and other ServiceNow scripting languages.
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
