Senior Developer - Unix/Shell (Wholesale) Senior - Digital Banking

We are seeking a Senior Developer (Unix/Shell) to join our Wholesale Digital Banking team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Unix/Shell scripting and front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), along with a solid understanding of digital banking applications. The role requires working in a fast-paced, Agile environment, collaborating across development, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Digital Banking applications for Wholesale Banking customers.
• Build responsive front-end components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Support backend integrations and services in Oracle database environments.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for batch jobs, deployments, and automation tasks.
• Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support deployments across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and management reports where required.

Required Skills:

• 6-9 years of experience in software development and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience working in Unix environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).
• Experience developing and maintaining Unix shell scripts.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience in application troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of SDLC and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Java, JSP, Spring Framework, XML, and SQL.
• Exposure to AEM Forms/Sites, TeamSite, or Web Content Management (WCM) platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of management reporting processes within banking systems.
