As a Senior DevOps Engineer (IAM), you help keep IAM services stable across HR systems, the Shared Data Hub (SDH), Microsoft Entra ID, and Smart Connect (Staffbase). You support user provisioning and identity lifecycle processes (onboarding, changes, offboarding) based on established data flows.
You focus on monitoring and operational analysis, helping to observe, troubleshoot, and analyze IAM behavior in Staffbase, Entra ID, and SDH to detect issues early (access, data quality, personalization).
You support API-based IAM integrations (REST/SCIM) by analyzing identity data flows and ensuring existing interfaces run reliably. Automation, web tools, and scripting are used for monitoring, analysis, and recurring operational checks.
You help operate user and conditional (attribute-based) groups in Smart Connect and support investigations into authorization, content visibility, and Single Sign-On (SSO). You also maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides to ensure transparent, stable operations.
Ready to embark on the journey Here's what we are looking for:
You have initial experience in IT operations, DevOps, IAM, or application support and are keen to understand how identity-centric platforms run on a scale. You enjoy working close to production and ensuring stable, secure, performant, and compliant operations.
You understand identity-related data flows across systems and how HR/IT data is synchronized via existing interfaces (e.g., SDH and Entra ID through identity platforms into Smart Connect (Staffbase)). Monitoring and analyzing these flows-especially data quality, security, and platform behavior-is a key part of the role.
Knowledge of GlobalOM, Job Career Architecture, and Location Factory is a strong plus.
You have a solid foundation in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory provisioning, and how identities and entitlements are synchronized across systems. You help ensure these mechanisms run correctly and that identity data remains consistent.
You are familiar with Single Sign-On (SSO) and how authentication and authorization support security and smooth user experience. You contribute to analysis and troubleshooting of SSO-related issues.
You are comfortable with API-based integrations (REST/SCIM) and operational monitoring, analyzing system behavior as needed. Scripting and automation support recurring checks, operational analysis, and data adjustments.
You work independently, prioritize effectively under pressure, and collaborate across regions in a multinational setup. Very good English is required basic German is an advantage.

The company DHL itself was founded in San Francisco, United States, in 1969 and expanded its service throughout the world by the late 1970s. In 1979, under the name of DHL Air Cargo, the company entered the Hawaiian islands with an inter-island cargo service using two DC-3 and four DC-6 aircraft. Adrian Dalsey and Larry Hillblom personally oversaw the daily operations until its eventual bankruptcy closed the doors in 1983. At its peak, DHL Air Cargo employed just over 100 workers, management and pilots.
