Job Description

We are seeking a technically versatile DevSecOps / Database Administrator to support secure software delivery and reliable database operations. You will manage deployment automation, database maintenance, performance optimisation, access controls and data recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and infrastructure configurations.
Integrate security checks and compliance controls into software delivery workflows.
Manage cloud, containerised and Linux-based environments.
Administer databases, including configuration, upgrades, maintenance and performance tuning.
Develop and maintain SQL/PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures and data synchronisation scripts.
Manage database access controls, backup, recovery and data security.
Troubleshoot application delivery and database issues, and coordinate system improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
5-10 years of relevant DevSecOps and/or database administration experience.
Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible or equivalent technologies.
Hands-on database administration experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or similar platforms.
Proficiency in SQL/PL/SQL and database maintenance, backup, recovery and performance optimisation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, Linux administration and database security.
Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments is an advantage.
