SENIOR/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Description

• Manage multiple electrical, ELV, and M&E subcontractors, including term/proprietary contractors, within a Hospital A&A project.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise diversion and decommissioning works related to the project scope (ELV systems including, but not limited to, Fire Alarm, Fireman Intercom, Building Management System (BMS), IT / Data Structured Cabling, Public Address (PA), and other specialized systems found within existing healthcare infrastructure).

• Prepare and submit diversion proposals and presentations to obtain approval from stakeholders.

• Oversee technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, inspections, testing, and commissioning.

• Conduct site surveys to verify existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.

• Serve as the primary point of contact to report to user, client, and consultant on project matters pertaining to electrical, ELV, and operational issues.

• Ensure all works comply with workplace safety, quality standards, and company procedures.

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

• Perform any other tender or project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

1.Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2.Minimum 10 years of relevant project experience for senior electrical role and minimum 5 years for electrical engineer role.

3. Experience in managing large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or M&E projects in Singapore.

4. Good knowledge of LV/ELV electrical systems and IT structured cabling.

5. Familiar with structured cabling, fibre-optic and copper cabling, MDF/IDF rooms, network racks, CCTV, access control, intercom, and other ELV systems.

6. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.

7. Prior hospital project experience is preferred.
