Responsibilities

Develop embedded software components for sensor-based systems focused on power and energy measurement to deliver scalable production products
Collaborate with hardware and testing teams to transition R&D projects into reliable, scalable production solutions
Enhance and maintain existing embedded software to improve functionality and development workflows
Propose and implement new software solutions to optimize development processes and product performance
Research and apply the latest advancements in sensor technology, sensing and calibration algorithms, and industry trends to innovate product offerings
Contribute to patent applications by documenting novel software and sensor technology developments
Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth
Lead architectural design and technical roadmaps for high-impact R&D initiatives to drive product innovation and quality

Required competencies and certifications

Proficiency in C programming language for embedded software development
Full lifecycle experience in specification, design, development, and testing of sensor-based embedded software
Knowledge of signal processing, sensor technologies, and sensor calibration techniques
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Expertise in Python, C++, or MATLAB programming languages
Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols
Experience with wireless communication technologies and embedded cybersecurity
Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with hardware R&D teams
