Senior Engineer, Development Engineering

Job Description

This role focuses on supporting maintenance and process teams by managing equipment changes and improvements. The responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including developing solutions, modifying equipment to enhance safety and performance, and creating design specifications while maintaining system integrity. The role also involves generating documentation for equipment changes, leading installations, and monitoring new equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design & Improve Systems - Support software and control design changes, create specifications, and develop equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and performance.

• Equipment Management - Lead new equipment installations, work with vendors on automation projects, monitor performance, and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation.

• Problem Solving - Analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions for both recurring and special equipment problems.

• Maintenance & Documentation - Develop maintenance programs, ensure system integrity, and prepare equipment-related documentation

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Bachelor in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

PREFERRED:

Minimum of 3 years experience in similar environment

SKILLS

• Experience in CAD Tools (AutoCAD, 3D-Solidwork Engineering software) for generating AC & DC circuit diagram, wiring diagram, component layout design.
• Skillful in Programmable logic control programming (CTC PLC, Mitsubishi PLC, Siemens PLC), QuickBasic language, Adept V+, & HMI programming for Proface, Hakko, CTC Quick Panel, Mitsubishi GOT
• Experience in interfacing protocol (series communication, Ethernet, device Networking)
