Job Description

Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Unix infrastructure across global data centers while ensuring resilience and high availability. Additionally, accountable for the lifecycle of servers, providing support for deployment and migration projects, technical troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and follow-the-sun support within a global team.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix infrastructure (Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Solaris, HPUX) across global data centers
  • Ensuring resilience and high availability through Enterprise Clusters (Service Guard) and load balancers
  • Accountable for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Linux/Unix servers, including deployment, configuration, tuning, patching & hardening, monitoring, troubleshooting and disposing of servers
  • Assisting clients in deployment and migration projects through consultancy and knowledge sharing
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support, collaborating with other data center engineers to address complex technical issues
  • Required to strive for continuous improvement in the operating environment while actively seeking opportunities to implement automation
  • Collaborate within a global team to provide follow-the-sun support, ensuring a stable environment for critical services
  • Work with the following tools: Linux, HPUX, Solaris, Service Guard, Ansible, Rundeck, Foreman, Puppet, Zabbix, Confluence and Kibana
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support of Linux/Unix platforms

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, with a preference for candidates holding certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or similar Linux/Unix Administrator certifications
  • Relevant experience in overseeing Enterprise IT Infrastructures, particularly with Linux Servers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English and desirable soft skills including team work, project management experience, presentation/communication abilities, and an independent and structured approach to work
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Remark: Willing to travel to other sites
