Job Description
Responsibilities
- Integrate, test, install, configure, and support system integration solutions for manufacturing and enterprise applications.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance middleware, microservices, and application integration solutions based on business and operational requirements.
- Work closely with Developers, Solution Architects, Application Owners, and Business Users to implement integration solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.
- Develop, configure, maintain, and support Apache NiFi data flows and microservices-based integration solutions for system-to-system integration, data movement, process automation, and application connectivity.
- Develop and support system interfaces utilizing technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, messaging platforms, and integration frameworks.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain microservices and integration components to support business and manufacturing applications.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot containerized applications on OpenShift platforms.
- Develop and maintain OpenShift deployment configurations using YAML manifests, templates, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and related resources.
- Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot application, middleware, microservices, and integration issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor integration processes and system performance to ensure stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including equipment vendors and manufacturing application teams, to resolve technical issues arising during and after system implementation.
- Support demand management activities, including new requests, enhancements, defect fixes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, support guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide 2nd Level support for middleware and system integration incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
- Participate in on-call support activities to ensure operational continuity and timely issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in middleware development, application integration, enterprise integration, microservices development, or related software engineering roles.
- Strong experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting integration and middleware solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi and microservices development, including flow design, API integration, service implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, and support.
- Experience in developing and supporting microservices using Java, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of Web Services technologies, including REST and SOAP.
- Good knowledge of message bus technology, such as RedHat AMQ.
- Experience in application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, debugging, log analysis, and production support.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container-based application deployment.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes concepts.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining YAML-based deployment configurations for OpenShift environments.
- Understanding of RFID solutions, including RFID communication protocols, reader and antenna concepts, tag technologies, and integration with enterprise or manufacturing systems.
- Good understanding of system integration principles and distributed application environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing application systems such as MES and related factory automation integrations is highly desirable.
- Experience in analyzing requirements, developing solutions, testing, implementing, and supporting software applications and integration services.
- Ability to work independently in investigating technical issues and delivering effective solutions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to provide 24x7 Level 2 support for incident management and operational issue resolution.
- Highly inquisitive, logical, and analytical with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
