We're looking to add an Senior Engineer, Process (SMT)in Bayan Lepas plant.

As a Senior Engineer, Process in SMT (Sub-assembly), You will:

• Determine process flow and control system, material usage and tooling used.
• Ensure specifications of products meet customer requirements.
• Document process instructions, train, and certify trainers & supervise to ensure process instructions are promptly disseminated and implemented at manufacturing floor.
• Ensure documentation and manufacturing practices comply to Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health and Legal (Statutory and Regulatory) requirements.
• Continuous to seek and propose for innovative or new technology solution to streamline existing processes for lean manufacturing and wastage reduction.
• Response to engineering change from customer, transfer into internal documents and implement into the process.
• Constant involvement in scheduled communication or meeting with customer to ensure customer needs and requirements are fulfilled satisfactory.
• Continuous monitor, compile, review and improve manufacturing yield using FMEA & DOE approach. Periodical review and brainstorm with quality, material, and operation teams for continuous yield improvement.
• Guide, train and lead downline technicians in daily production line problem solving to meet department goal and build-up their engineering skill and work competency.
• Train and supervise downline technicians and engineering operators in the execution of routine preventive maintenance of the tooling used.
• Take lead in engineering, manufacturing, and tooling readiness for NPI.
• PCB design study and optimization using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) approach. Feedback to customer with recommendation for design improvement to resolve DFM inadequacy.
• Conduct NPI build, document technical issues, liaise and brainstorm with internal team and customer if necessary to resolve all the issues arise prior to mass production.
• Apply best practice, experience and knowledge sharing between this facility & sister facility for mutual benefit.
• Constant participation in external seminars, workshops & absorb knowledge from e-journal or e-paper for self-knowledge enhancement to apply in work.
• Perform assessment on ESH hazard and aspect. Establish risk control measures to mitigate accident and injuries. Exert effort to reduce usage of hazardous material to mitigate the pollution, accidents, and injuries.
• Perform other duties as and when required by Venture.

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in SMT manufacturing field.
• Possess strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels.
• A team player and independent.
