Role Summary
Lead the engineering, integrity management, and offshore execution of riser, mooring, umbilical, and fluid transfer line systems for a major FPSO project. Act as the technical authority to ensure safe redeployment, installation, and commissioning while managing technical risks and supporting successful project delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of riser and mooring scopes from engineering through offshore installation and commissioning.
- Review and approve designs, methodologies, procedures, and technical deviations to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve complex riser and mooring issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage integrity assessments and reinstatement plans for existing flexible risers and umbilicals.
- Support offshore installation, testing, hook-up, and commissioning activities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and execution risks.
- Coordinate with FPSO, subsea, installation, and contractor teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide project leadership with regular progress and risk updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in deepwater riser and mooring engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience with FPSOs or similar floating production facilities, including riser reinstatement and mooring system design and installation.
- Strong knowledge of flexible risers, umbilicals, mooring systems, and offshore installation methods.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, DNV, and ISO.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Ability to manage complex offshore execution activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, integrity, and delivery excellence.
