PCI Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality to join our Quality Assurance department. This position is a 1 year contract role, and will be placed under an Employment Agency.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Supplier Selection (SSAC) audits, Quality Management System (QMS) audits, process reviews, environmental audits, compliance reviews of PCI suppliers
- Promptly communicate, drive, analyze and resolve material quality and supplier issues related to PCI mechanical and electromechanical suppliers
- Monitor, develop and improve the quality performance of PCI mechanical and electromechanical suppliers
- Work closely with QA, IQC, IPQC, OQC, and various PCI internal functions related to material and supplier concerns on mechanical and electromechanical suppliers in a timely manner.
- Compile regular and ad hoc supplier quality performance reports for internal and external parties (customers, suppliers, auditors, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials Science Engineering, Mechatronics or something of relevant field
- Possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint software
- Knowledge/Experience with auditor training, certification is preferred
- Knowledge/Experience with statistical background and lean/six sigma training, certification is preferred
- Background/Experience in the metal part and/or plastic part industries is preferred
- Possess knowledge or certification on QMS standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, AAG, ISO 13485, SO 14001, UL, NEMA, etc.)
