About the Role

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) is seeking a capable and detail-oriented professional to join our Legal, Governance & Risk Division as a Senior Executive; Business Continuity & Enterprise Risk Management (BC & ERM).

This role plays an important part in supporting the organization's enterprise risk framework and business continuity management initiatives, ensuring operational resilience, governance compliance, and risk awareness across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

  • Support the implementation of PTP's enterprise risk management framework.
  • Coordinate quarterly risk reporting with divisions and Risk Coordinators.
  • Assist in preparing reports for submission to the Risk Management Committee, Audit Committee, and parent company.
  • Maintain and administer ERM systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitate risk awareness discussions and support risk mitigation initiatives.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

  • Coordinate preparation, review, and updating of BCM documentation.
  • Support divisions in developing and reviewing their Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Assist in planning and conducting annual BCM exercises and simulations.
  • Monitor BCM compliance and readiness across departments.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure BC & ERM activities comply with company procedures and governance requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and documentation completeness.
  • Uphold information security and IT policy compliance standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with Executives and above across divisions.
  • Coordinate with Group Risk and BCM teams.
  • Provide consultation support and follow-up on risk and continuity matters.

  • Timely and accurate quarterly risk reporting.
  • Improved risk awareness and mitigation practices across divisions.
  • Updated and effective Business Continuity Plans.
  • Successful annual BCM exercises.
  • High compliance standards and audit readiness.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ERM, CBCI, DRI or equivalent are advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal control, compliance, or related functions.
  • Exposure to port operations or industrial environments is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Ability to assess internal controls and governance structures.
  • Good understanding of operational risk.
  • Strong communication skills (Bahasa Melayu & English).
  • Good presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Organized, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
