The position assist in facilitating compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policy documents, and MSIG policies, regulations and guidelines including S17A of MACC Act 2009 and AML/CFT requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and embedding a positive, open and consistent Compliance culture company wide which includes communication, update and training on the relevant laws, regulations, BNM policy documents and MSIG policies, regulations and guidelines governing the business.
- Support in development and implementation of Compliance, S17A of MACC Act 2009 and AML]CFT framework as well as monitoring and reporting on Compliance [such as Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) on BNM Policy Document and Compliance Training] and AML/CFT matters [such as screening for Section 66B (The Domestic Lists), Section 66C (ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List and Taliban List) of AMI-ATFPUAA.
- Manage references for compliance with relevant policy documents and circulars.
- Assist in the preparation of regional requirements on Compliance such as Quarterly Market Practice reporting via eGRC, Risk Treatment Plan via eGRC system, Quarterly Management Checklist via eCHECK system, Yearly Checklists, Compliance Risk Assessment, Fraud Risk Assessment and annual Compliance Program.
- Manage ISM Systems Users in their registration, resetting password, changing/adding access right and deletion.
- Update Compliance including S17A of MACC Act 2009 and AML/CFT Manuals periodically with regulatory and other relevant changes
Job Requirements:
- Degree Holder preferably in Law, Finance, Economics or professional qualification.
- At least 3 years working experience in either Compliance or Internal Audit, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Good communication skills, written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Pro-active and committed to continuous improvements.
