Assist with dissemination of circulars from association/regulatory.
Assist to maintain/upkeep a database or record of press articles, letters, and briefings regarding compliance, promote management awareness and co-ordinate responses to proposed regulatory changes.
Assist with the monitoring and follow-up of management's initiatives to ensure new regulatory requirements are met, to ensure timely and accurate remediation are carried out.
Assist with conducting reviews/assessments of internal documents and processes to assess and ensure the company's operations follow relevant laws and regulations.
Assist with other compliance duties such as compliance training, policy writing, customer screening responsibilities and other tasks assigned from time to time.
Assist or at times conduct staff training to raise awareness and understanding of regulatory and compliance matters and provide advice on compliance related matters as appropriate to the business.
Requirements
Minimum Degree holder or relevant Professional Qualifications.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Compliance related role in a financial industry.
Knowledge in BNM regulations.
Knowledge in financial industry/ audit preferred.
Highly proficient in MS Office Applications.
Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication.
Resourceful, meticulous and the ability to multi-task a full spectrum of responsibilities.
Strong business acumen and organisation awareness to be an effective business partner to various Business Units.
