Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with dissemination of circulars from association/regulatory.
  • Assist to maintain/upkeep a database or record of press articles, letters, and briefings regarding compliance, promote management awareness and co-ordinate responses to proposed regulatory changes.
  • Assist with the monitoring and follow-up of management's initiatives to ensure new regulatory requirements are met, to ensure timely and accurate remediation are carried out.
  • Assist with conducting reviews/assessments of internal documents and processes to assess and ensure the company's operations follow relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with other compliance duties such as compliance training, policy writing, customer screening responsibilities and other tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Assist or at times conduct staff training to raise awareness and understanding of regulatory and compliance matters and provide advice on compliance related matters as appropriate to the business.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree holder or relevant Professional Qualifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Compliance related role in a financial industry.
  • Knowledge in BNM regulations.
  • Knowledge in financial industry/ audit preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication.
  • Resourceful, meticulous and the ability to multi-task a full spectrum of responsibilities.
  • Strong business acumen and organisation awareness to be an effective business partner to various Business Units.
