Costing & Financial Analysis
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes for the manufacturing unit.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budgeted costs) and recommend cost-control measures.
- Assist in setting product pricing strategies by evaluating cost structures and market conditions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and cost forecasts.
- Monitor cost trends and provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying areas of improvement in production efficiency.
Inventory & Material Cost Control
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
- Ensure proper allocation of costs to products and identify wastage or inefficiencies.
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations and participate in physical inventory counts
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare cost reports and financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant cost data and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to costing and financial reporting.
