Overview
Job Description
- Provide L2 support and act as subject matter expert on the respective IT domain.
- Participate in design, implementation and enhancement of servers and Infrastructure services set-up and configuration.
- Supporting line managers to guide junior engineers to complete daily tasks.
Duties And Responsibilities
- System Administration tasks for Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 FR2, 2016, 2019 (software installation, performance diagnostics, issue resolution, etc.).
- Active Directory Administration (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
- Group Policy Management (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
- Microsoft Systems Center (App Controller, Configuration Manager, Data Protection Manager, Orchestrator, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Virtual Machine Manager) (2012 R2 preferred).
- Deep understanding and hands on experience in hypervisor technology (VMware & MicrosoftHyper-V).
- Working knowledge of cloud tools and services (Azure preferred).
- Expertise in Server, Storage, and Windows technologies.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
- Planning a Disaster Recovery Plan using Veeam Availability suite.
- Quarterly basis of scheduled Preventive Maintenance/Health Check for Servers.
- Participates as part of team and maintains good relationship with team members and internal users.
- Any other tasks that assigned by your superior.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Certification such as MCSE, MCITP, VCP, PRINCE2/ PMP, VMCE is an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
Technical And Professional Knowledge
- Hands on experience in Windows server 2008R2 - 2019, Active Directory, SAN storage and VMware/Hyper-V environment administration.
- Experience in deployment and management of various such as DHCP, DNS, Veeam Backup and Windows File Server.
- Hands on experience in Active Directory GPO.
- Hands on experience in implementation of system level security control.
- Experience in Microsoft Power Shell scripting is an added advantage.
