Description
- Manage full sets of accounts for the Singapore entity, including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and accurate daily accounting operations.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation in compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, audit standards, and corporate record‑keeping rules.
- Handle AR functions, including debtor aging, collection follow-ups, and customer account reconciliations for Singapore-based customers.
- Manage AP processes, ensuring supplier invoice verification, accurate posting, and timely payments according to Singapore market practices.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing for the Singapore entity, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support financial analysis, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and insights to assist management decision-making.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against actual for Singapore financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and regulations, including IRAS tax rules, GST requirements, and Companies Act obligations.
- Assist in Singapore statutory submissions, including tax computations, GST filings, annual regulatory filings, and audit schedules.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and ACRA-related service providers while reporting directly to the CFO.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting statutory compliance and project accounting
- Familiarity with Singapore tax, finance and company secretarial regulations
- Experience in aeronautical or aviation industry would be prefer
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
