Senior Executive Financial Reporting

Responsible for supporting the month-end closing of accounts, conducting financial analysis and reporting and ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. The candidate should demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication abilities. Additionally, the role involves assisting in continuous process improvements, enhancing reporting efficiency, and supporting finance transformation and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in timely closing monthly accounts, including but not limited to data extractions and analysis, journal postings and preparation of reports ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Assist in preparation of the Group consolidation report and related schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing and providing audit-related information and supporting documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in continuous improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation.
• Utilize SAP/BI tools to generate insightful reporting and business analytics.
• Participate and assist in preparation and execution of regulatory projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning and execution of regulatory projects, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
• Attend any ad-hoc assignments that may be required from time to time.
  
  

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting; experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of SAP/BI systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
