JOB SUMMAARY

The Senior Executive, Freighter Management (Finance) is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the freighter business, including P&L management, budget forecasting, and variance analysis. The role involves collecting, validating, and interpreting operational and financial data to provide actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reporting efficiency. The position also develops dashboards and reports using BI tools to support strategic decision-making and optimize profitability.

Job Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership: Monitor, analyze, and report on the company's Profit & Loss statements by business segment, product, or region. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance. Support budget forecasting and variance analysis
  • Data Management & Analytics: Collect, validate, and interpret operational and financial data to derive actionable insights. Develop dashboards, reports, and models using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience & Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in airline finance, cargo operations finance, or business analysis.
  • Exposure to P&L management, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in operations or commercial functions.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong financial analysis skills: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and link it to financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, cost drivers, and revenue metrics in airline/cargo operations.
  • Soft Skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities affecting financial performance
